BeGov
Busara’s governance and accountability projects are housed within the BeGOV (behavioral science for governance) Portfolio. BeGOV’s long-term goal is to bridge the gaps between applied behavioral science research and civil society practitioners’ strategies/interventions for better citizen engagement outcomes.
Behavioral Research and Academic Engagements (BRACE)
The go-to team for conducting lab, lab-in-the-field and field experiments to understand mechanisms behind human behavior, evaluate interventions and contextualize research. We provide field research, design, data and methods support.
Climate change and infectious diseases
From shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, and increase pests and opportunities for malnutrition, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding and water-borne diseases, the impacts of environmental degradation and climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale.
Education and youth employment
Busara’s Education and Youth Employment portfolio researches effective ways to support youths in the Global South to achieve success in the workforce, strengthening both their ability and willingness to seize a range of labor market opportunities.
