My passion for creativity, specifically for visual and graphic design has been my driving force during the course of my 20+ year career. I hold an Electronic Design Foundation and Advanced Electronic Design certification from the Academy of Printing Technologies in Nairobi, as well as various short-term online course certifications.

I strongly believe we all have a responsibility towards improving the world we live in, and the work I do, specifically, the company I choose to work for is my own little way of making a personal contribution. I have delivered numerous high quality design, marketing/communication materials throughout my career initially working for Ogilvy & Mather EA, and later freelancing, which included; original design concepts, print and social media layouts, collage styles, photo editing, AI image creation, and copy editing/writing. I have also worked on a short-term contract basis as a sub-contracted research assistant for a professor working with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Kenya.

At Busara, I predominantly create designs for editorial reports, proposals, presentations, intervention prototypes, social media, as well as provide facilitation/planning assistance during co-design workshops to name a few. I determine project scopes while liaising and collaborating with clients and teams to identify needs, and provide effective, innovative solutions.
