Busara has joined Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) as a key sponsor for the NISA Conference running from September 11-13th 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel in Nigeria, with the goal of supporting and advancing their mission to enhance the quality of health care through implementation science and research.
The theme of the NISA Conference 2025, is Sustainable Growth through Local Action: From Investment to Impact, with a three-fold objective of fostering conversation and collaboration on topical issues in implementation science, documenting of insights and learnings uncovered in the last year, and also celebrating 10 years of NISA’s achievements and strategizing for the next decade of progress.
NISA is a collaborative network that promotes the use of evidence based strategies to bridge the gap between research and health practice in Nigeria. It facilitates partnerships, knowledge sharing, and capacity building to support the effective scaling-up of proven health interventions.
“Sustainable impact starts at the community level. By taking a bottom-up approach, we empower local actors to drive change from within, ensuring that solutions are not only effective, but enduring. Our work in implementation science is grounded in the belief that true progress in healthcare comes from investing in people and enabling them to shape their own futures,” said Dr Uchenna Igbokwe, Local Organizing Committee (LoC) Chairman at NISA.
“At Busara, we are proud to support the NISA Conference as a Diamond Sponsor. Our work is rooted in behavioral science, understanding how people make decisions, how systems respond, and the outcomes of these intricate interactions. By bringing this lens to implementation science, we aim to co-create practical, evidence-driven solutions that strengthen sustainable health outcomes in Nigeria and across Africa,” said Dr. Mohammed M. Alhaji, Engagement Director at Busara.
