Biography
I enjoy providing insights that are impactful to clients and designing research tools to monitor and deliver quality work. Currently, at Busara as Senior Analyst, I focus on data analysis and management to ensure that insights from the field are precise and well presented according to the client’s needs. I also work closely with associates and field teams to frame research tools that are necessary to answer the key research questions in civic engagement
My experience in the private sector enriched me with skills in market research, data analysis and presentation, and team work across different countries. As a research consultant for KDI School in partnership with the World Bank Global Delivery Initiative, I interviewed government officials and wrote a case study report on how to leverage digital technologies to improve electoral management. This experience taught me the importance and challenges of citizen engagement in rolling out new technologies. My previous role as a research and policy analyst in the NGO sector gave me skills on how to engage with stakeholders in the civic space and communicate research findings. My major interest in the civic space is learning and exploring new ideas in civic engagement and how to use data to inform program/policy designs that are people centric.
I have an MBA from Makerere University, a Masters degree in Public Policy from KDI School of Public Policy and Management, South Korea and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Makerere University, Uganda.
