Biography
I am passionate about working with civil society organizations (CSOs, building their capacity to improve how they serve their communities. I believe evidence-based strategies and behavioral insights can transform how social impact is achieved, and I am committed to equipping CSOs with tools that make their programs more effective and inclusive.
At Busara, I work as a Project Associate focusing on building the capacity of CSOs in East Africa particularly Tanzania. My work involves integrating behavioral science, research methods, and innovative approaches to program evaluation, helping organizations address complex development challenges and enhance their effectiveness. I collaborate with CSOs, government stakeholders, and donor partners to promote inclusive governance and social development.
Before joining Busara, I worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Projects Officer at the National Democratic Institute (NDI). There, I coordinated multi-stakeholder initiatives that strengthened the capacity of 21 Civil Society Organizations to advocate for inclusive democratic governance. Overall, my role contributed in strengthening democratic governance and social inclusion in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. I also managed partnerships with government and civil society actors and supported CSO capacity-building efforts.
I hold a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam.
