Biography
I am committed to helping Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other social institutions to become more effective agents of community transformation. At Busara, my work is centered on building effective systems and frameworks, leveraging insights, research methods, and evidence-based strategies to help social institutions integrate innovation in their work. I led capacity building for behavioral interventions in Uganda and Tanzania.
Previously, I worked at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Projects Officer, where I coordinated multi-stakeholder projects focused on democratic governance and social inclusion. My role also involved managing partnerships with government bodies, civil society actors, and donors, as well as facilitating capacity-building programs and contributing to research on civic engagement and governance. My experience reflects a strong commitment to supporting social institutions, particularly Civil Society Organizations, and promoting inclusive governance.
I hold a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam. I am fluent in Kiswahili and English and committed to advancing the role of CSOs in promoting equity and sustainable development in Tanzania.
