Writing is my first love. I have been writing poetry, essays, articles and scripts since I was a child. I turned to writing professionally as soon as I became an adult – and have not looked back since. My love for language led me to a career in communications, where I help organizations craft and implement strategies to deliver key messages to mass, mid-sized and audiences of one. 

At Busara I work on building our voice. This involves thinking about what we are saying, why we are saying it and whether we are saying it to the right people in the right manner for us to be heard how we originally intended. In my time at Busara we have worked on the Groundwork Series, which highlights the work we do in detail. We have also put out Tafakari, to reflect on our journey annually. This in addition to blogs, aha! moments, and LinkedIn pulses that we regularly publish. 

Before I joined Busara I worked in advertising, using my writing skills as a copywriter to craft brand campaigns for multiple organizations including Barclays, Absa, Ketepa, Capwell, Pajero, and Equity bank. For my work during this time I won two APA awards recognising the craft and quality of my advertisements.
