Biography
My curiosity about how people make decisions and the structural factors that shape those decisions led me to behavioral science—a field that offers rigorous, evidence-based tools for understanding human behavior in complex, real-world environments. Financial inclusion is one area where these insights are especially critical. While access to finance has the potential to transform livelihoods and unlock economic opportunity, many financial solutions fail to reflect the lived experiences of those they aim to serve.
At Busara, I work as an Analyst within the Inclusive Finance portfolio, where I support end-to-end research and advisory work to expand financial inclusion for low-income and underserved communities. I apply both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine how financial tools and services can be better designed to meet people where they are—improving usability, trust, and long-term impact.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Nairobi.
