Biography
Every day, I wonder how behavioral science can bridge the gap between understanding human decisions and effecting significant change, whether it’s reducing inequality, promoting sustainability, or boosting well-being. What fascinates me the most is witnessing simple, evidence-based initiatives that have a ripple effect, demonstrating that changing mindsets and behaviors can transform systems, one insight at a time.
As a Research manager, I lead the design and implementation of mixed-methods studies—from lab-in-the-field experiments to quasi-experimental designs—to uncover behavioral barriers and drive scalable solutions for challenges like clean energy adoption. My work bridges rigorous research and real-world impact.
Currently, I’m working on a project that centers on understanding the behavioral barriers and drivers influencing the adoption and sustained use of clean cooking technologies, particularly electric cookstoves (e.g., induction stoves like BURN’s ECOA) in Uganda. We are combining field experiments, qualitative insights, and partnerships with stakeholders (e.g., manufacturers, policymakers), and we aim to design interventions that address affordability, usability, and cultural fit—key determinants of long-term adoption.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology.
