People and Operations Assistant

I care deeply about systems that help people—not just function—but thrive. I’m drawn to the challenge of how good ideas turn into effective implementation, especially within complex environments. I often ask: how can better coordination, communication, and empathy lead to more equitable impact? So far in my work, I’ve seen how small operational changes—done with care and intention—can unlock team potential and drive purpose forward.

At Busara, I serve as an People and Operations Assistant, supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and meaningful engagement. I coordinate processes such as recruitment logistics, onboarding, and learning and development,support strategic communication, and help plan team-building initiatives, all while fostering a collaborative and efficient team culture.

Before joining Busara, I worked as a Project Manager and Scrum Master at Red Giant Media Agency, where I facilitated event execution and cross-functional collaboration using Lean Six Sigma principles. I also interned at Diageo, supporting the relaunch of the Gordon’s 350ml brand and coordinating marketing activations. I hold a BSc. in Project Planning and Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
