Busara is honored to announce that it has been awarded the Research Institution License by the State Department for Science, Research and Innovation during a national dialogue session held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies on November 11, 2025.
This recognition formally designates Busara as a Registered Research Institution under National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI), granting it legal authorization to conduct research in Kenya. It affirms Busara’s compliance with national regulations under the Science, Technology, and Innovation Act, including standards for research integrity, data protection, and reporting, and reinforces its institutional credibility within Kenya’s national research framework.
